Visit one of shops HospitaliTea for Hive Talkin' with Beekeeper Konni Vukelic! Presentation will include an explanation of bees and how they impact us and the world at large. A brief overview of the lifespan of a bee, how honey is made and what a day in the life of a honeybee is like. Participants will learn how each of us is connected and how saving bees helps us all. They will gain understanding how we can all do small things that make a big impact. We will introduce and explain into the inherent wisdom found in the beehive from working together to having healthy habits. We will discuss the benefits of bees, honey, different kinds of hives and growing bee friendly gardens. Included in presentation: See hive parts and components; Learn about beekeeping tools including protective gear and smoker; Touch and smell Honeycomb, Beeswax and Beeswax products; See pictures from us working with bees; Product sample - enjoy a light honey sampling; Each participant will receive a Bee themed goodie bag which will include an 8 oz honeybear with local honey from Three Bees hives for you to take home.
