Come out for our Independence Day event! Celebrate with South Elgin as we turn out for an old-fashioned, flag-waving parade to honor our nation's independence and the Veterans who have fought to protect it. The parade kicks off promptly at 10:00 am on July 4th. **The Parks & Recreation Department collects non-perishable food items at the beginning of the parade to help fill the shelves at the South Elgin Food Pantry.**
